Flip Floppers might be important Swing Voters this Election Cycle…or they might not.
History
In recent years, Flip Floppers have asserted their considerable power in Presidential Politics. In 2000, Flip Floppers played the decisive role in the election of George W. Bush, when the Supreme Court flip flopped the results of the popular vote in Florida.
So, in retrospect, John Kerry made a critical blunder in his attempt to woo Flip Floppers away from Bush in 2004. But Kerry made a valiant effort by publicly contradicting himself repeatedly, sometimes even within the same sentence.
Candidate Kerry even went so far as to try and communicate to this Demographic subconsciously by stiffening his entire body to mimic the firm rubber of a proper flip flop when speaking in public.
But, in the end, George W. Bush was able to win the Flip Flopper vote, and with it, reelection.

Only time will tell which Presidential Candidate will be two-faced enough to secure the Flip Flopper Demographic in 2008.
